Tasks & duties
Aluminium joiners may do some or all of the following:
- discuss requirements with architects, builders and homeowners
- provide quotes and price estimates
- read and interpret drawings and plans
- select, mark and cut aluminium to size
- screw aluminium pieces together
- cut glass and glaze aluminium products
- test aluminium items for defects
- repair and maintain aluminium products
- deliver and install the finished products.
