Entry Requirements
To become a physiotherapist you need to have a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in physiotherapy (BHSc) from the AUT University or a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPhty) from the University of Otago.

Pay
According to the Census 2006, Physiotherapists earned an average of $42,600 a year and worked an average of 34 hours per week.

Job Outlook
Physiotherapists with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and who are registered through the New Zealand Society of Physiotherapists have good chances of finding work in New Zealand.
