Maintenance and diagnostics engineers make, fit and repair parts for machines and related equipment used on boats, farms, sawmills and mining sites, as well as in factories and oil refineries.

Entry Requirements

To become a maintenance and diagnostics engineer you need to complete an apprenticeship and gain a National Certificate in Maintenance and Diagnostics in Mechanical Engineering Level 5.
