Entry Requirements
To become a press secretary you need to have a tertiary qualification in one of the following areas:journalism
communications
public relations
media studies.

Pay
Pay varies, but press secretaries usually earn between $72,000 and $97,000 a year depending on their ability, experience and duties.

Job Outlook
Opportunities for press secretaries are limited, with only 30 to 40 employed by government ministers at any time.
