Training on the job

To become a chartered accountant with the NIZCA you must complete four years of academic study at an NZICA approved tertiary education institution combined with three years of workplace experience.

You will also be required to sit a post-graduate professional competency programme which includes self-study, workshops and passing the two main NZICA exams.
