Working Conditions
Grain millers work in mills in city or country areas. They work with machinery that can be noisy and may need to do a moderate amount of lifting. Grain millers must not wear any jewellery when working.

- computers
- basic laboratory equipment
- protective clothing such as earmuffs, boots and a hat.
Hours
Grain millers usually work in full-time shifts, and they may work weekends and evenings.
Contact with people
Grain millers work in a small team and may supervise others. They work under the direction of managers.
