Working Conditions
Demonstrators work in shops, supermarkets, liquor retail outlets, clubs, homes, offices and at various events such as trade fairs.
Conditions vary depending on where the demonstration is being given.
Equipment
Equipment demonstrators may use includes:
- display materials and goods
- a microphone
- a uniform.
Hours
Demonstrators normally work part-time hours on an on-call basis. The hours vary from one demonstration to another, but are usually from 10am to 6.30pm on weekdays and 10am to 2pm in weekends.
Contact with people
Demonstrators usually work independently.
