Industry sources indicate that the average gross salary for roading engineers in 2008 was about $73,900, with the highest-paid 25% earning about $80,000, while the lowest-paid 25% earned an average of $67,850 a year.
According to the 2006 Census, roading engineers earned an average of $60,500 a year and worked an average of 43 hours per week. This includes full and part-time workers.
