Industry sources indicate that the average gross salary for communication managers in 2008 was about $98,300, with the highest-paid 25% earning about $112,500, while the lowest-paid 25% earned an average of $70,000 a year.
According to the 2006 Census, communication managers earned an average of $72,300 a year and worked an average of 43 hours per week. This includes full and part-time workers.
