Salaries vary depending on performance and specialisation. New radio journalists usually earn between $25,000 and $30,000 per year. New television journalists, who have journalism experience in other media, earn between $30,000 and $45,000 per year. Some experienced radio and television journalists earn over $80,000 per year.
