The Real Estate Agents Licensing Board decides whether to grant licences and certificates to real estate offices, branch managers and real estate salespeople. They also manage complaint procedures against their members. 

Real Estate Institute of NZ

The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand provides members with services such as access to industry training, up to date information on industry changes and use of the REINZ logo. Members must have a licence or certificate from the Real Estate Agents Licensing Board. 

The Property Council of New Zealand

The Property Council of New Zealand represents members who are involved with commercial property, such as property developers and managers. It provides research information to help members make investment decisions and promotes property as an investment area. It also provides a fortnightly newsletter, access to the property council library and opportunities to make business contacts.  

The Property Institute of New Zealand (PINZ)

PINZ represents property professionals such as property valuers and managers. It promotes a code of ethical conduct among its members and provides membership services such as weekly notification of job vacancies, professional development courses and information on property law.
