Association of Consulting Engineers of NZ (ACENZ)

ACENZ is the professional association for consulting engineers. It provides members with information and ongoing professional development through regular meetings and forums, an annual conference and seminars and workshops. It also promotes standards of best practice, and produces guidelines and procedures on a range of engineering topics.

EWRB is the licensing body for registered electrical and electronics workers and ensures they are competent to practise. EWRB is also responsible for promoting electrical and electronic safety. 

Electricity Engineers' Association of NZ (EEA)

EEA promotes standards, guidelines and best practice in and for the electrical engineering industry. It co-ordinates professional development and training for people in the electricity industry, and also has relationships with overseas training providers to ensure the professional development it offers is up to date with overseas developments. 

Electricity Supply ITO (ESITO)

ESITO is owned by the electricity supply industry and works closely with employers to promote industry standards, and develop training for the industry. It ensures qualifications are registered, and helps trainees through scholarships, and providing mentors or co-ordinators who plan training programmes and review progress. 

ETITO

ETITO is an industry training organisation that develops qualifications and manages the national training systems for the electrotechnology, telecommunications and security industries, contact centre, offender management, the ambulance sector and the financial services industry.
