Represents bricklayers and promotes and advances the masonary trades. 

The Cement and Concrete Association of New Zealand promotes the use of cement and concrete products. 

The Department of Building and Housing ensures the laws and standards that govern the building and housing sector are effective, and provides information, advice and dispute resolution services to the public. They also work with the building and housing sector to develop better professional standards and provide policy advice to the Government. 

The New Zealand Masonry Trades Registration Board aims to promote, encourage and improve the education, training and standards of masonry construction through registration of masons and bricklayers.
