ECANZ is an association of electrical businesses. It owns the Electrical Training Company, through which it trains apprentices and arranges industry secondments. 

EWRB is the licensing body for registered electrical and electronics workers and ensures they are competent to practise. EWRB is also responsible for promoting electrical and electronic safety. 

ESITO is owned by the electricity supply industry and works closely with employers to promote industry standards, and develop training for the industry. It ensures qualifications are registered, and helps trainees through scholarships, and providing mentors or co-ordinators who plan training programmes and review progress.
