Competenz is the New Zealand engineering, food and manufacturing industry training organisation. It provides training and qualifications for people employed within these industries. 

The Department of Building and Housing ensures the laws and standards that govern the building and housing sector are effective, and provides information, advice and dispute resolution services to the public. They also work with the building and housing sector to develop better professional standards and provide policy advice to the Government. 

IRHACE provides members and people within this industry with pre-registration and training for ongoing certification and qualifications.
