What can I expect out of this qualification?

This qualification is for people wishing to specialise in the concrete construction industry in either sitework or pre-cast concrete construction activities. It also provides a means of recognising prior learning for those already working in the industry.

The qualification has been designed with a prerequisite qualification, the National Certificate in Concrete Construction with strands in Sitework, Pre-cast Concrete, and Placing and Finishing [Ref: 0732], which recognises the core skills and knowledge required by industry for concrete construction workers. Depending on the chosen strand, the prerequisite requirement will be either the sitework strand or the pre-cast concrete strand in the prerequisite qualification.

This qualification recognises the specialised skills in concrete construction activities for sitework and pre-cast concrete. Holders of this qualification are able to work in the industry as a certified specialist sitework or pre-cast concrete construction worker.
