What can I expect out of this qualification?

This qualification is designed for people operating in or intending to operate in the urban fire and rescue sector operating as part of an emergency response team or crew.

This qualification contributes to a safer New Zealand through providing skilled emergency response personnel, who deliver risk reduction, readiness, response, and recovery.

Graduates will be able to work in a team, under limited supervision from an Officer in Charge (or equivalent).
