What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification is designed for people considering a career in journalism, radio or iwi radio. It is the base level of journalism training. Higher level training is expected for most employers in the media sector.
Graduates will be recognised as having the skills, knowledge and ability to operate, under supervision, in the journalism industry. This includes the attributes necessary to contribute to the bi- and multi-cultural environment in Aotearoa New Zealand.
