What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the forest industry with individuals who have the skills and knowledge required to effectively manage log stocks. They will be able to contribute to the planning and day-to-day management of the log yard operation.
Graduates will be responsible for safe and efficient operation within the log yard team. They will have supervisory skills that will allow them to contribute to the management of the log yard crew.
The qualification includes two strands which represent distinct activities within a log stock management operation.
