A candidate for admission to this programme of study shall have attained the age of 18 years and a minimum of a Level 6 qualification or its equivalent or at least 3 years work experience in a relevant sector. International students must have an IELTS Academic band of 6 overall or equivalent, or they must have gained approval for special admission by the Academic Board.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The Diploma in Health Services Management Level 7 targets health professionals from diverse ethnic backgrounds as well as existing professionals who work in the health care sector such as health care assistants in Community Trusts, Aged Care Associations, etc. This qualification will allow them to engage in higher level study, in a non-threatening way, and in so doing, improve their current level of qualification. Currently there are many health professionals with a minimum qualification taking on management responsibilities; consequently this programme provides an opportunity for up-skilling in this sector.
