Credit transfer and recognition of prior learning arrangements

Organisations seeking approval to award the qualification are expected to have Recognition of Current Competency (RCC) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment processes in place.

Credit transfer will be automatic where assessment standards are used for assessment within programmes of study or training leading to this qualification.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the manufacturing industry with people who have the advanced skills and knowledge required to manage and improve a production process on a manufacturing site.

Graduates will be able to manage adherence to compliance standards and apply knowledge of quality assurance to improve end-product quality.

They will be able to achieve and improve on key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to manufacturing, troubleshoot and resolve production issues at process level and also deliver measureable improvement to productivity and quality.
