What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the processing sector of the glass industry with people who are able to operate unsupervised as glass processors.

This qualification will provide for those individuals who are working as glass processors a credential that will support their career opportunities across a range of companies in the glass sector.

Graduates of this qualification will be able to work to the required safety, technical, quality, and productivity standards, providing customers with confidence in the products they receive.

The optional strands attached to this qualification allow graduates to specialise in manufacturing insulating glass units, toughened and heat strengthened glass, screen printed glass, laminated glass, and the use and operation of Computer Numerically Controlled Machinery.
