What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the creative industries (the writing sector, publishing, broadcasting, digital games and content), businesses and organisations with editors who have specialist theoretical knowledge and technical skills, and who are able to contribute to the production of quality written outputs.

This qualification is designed for people who wish to work independently as freelance and contract editors, and for individuals already working in the industry who wish to gain credential for their work experience.
