Entry requirements
All domestic students must be at least 19 years old and hold at least a Level 5 Diploma qualification in Business (or an associated field), or have 4 years full-time business experience or 2 years in a business management trainee position. International students must be at least 19 years old and have an average English IELTS proficiency level in Academic English at a 6.5 level or hold a Level 5 or 6 qualification in Business (or in an associated field) gained in New Zealand. International students holding a degree in business or an associated field must have an Academic IELTS level 6. Previous work experience or a demonstrated interest in the export trade sector would be an advantage. All applicants to the course will be required to complete an application form which demonstrates their interest in the export industry and may be interviewed to assess their suitability for the course.

The strategic aim of the course is to equip students with specialized knowledge, skills and attitudes to establish an exporting and importing business department within a start-up organisation or within a current business venture.
