What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the construction diving sector with graduates able to work in offshore construction diving roles.

Graduates will have gained sufficient skills and knowledge to be eligible to apply for the New Zealand Certificate of Competency Part 3: Construction diving: SSBA to 50 metres and chamber operation to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and the requirements of AS/NZS 2815 and 2299.

Graduates will be able work autonomously in a dive team and take some responsibility for the performance of others.
