What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification will provide the exercise industry with graduates that have advanced skills and knowledge in exercise prescription and who can help facilitate relationships with health professionals and professional bodies in the exercise sector.
Graduates will be able to develop, deliver and evaluate personalised exercise programmes for at risk individuals and targeted exercise programmes for groups and organisations.
Graduates will operate within a framework of health and wellness in relation to individual, group or community needs and contribute to the cultural, social economic wellbeing of Aotearoa New Zealand.
Graduates will be eligible to register with the New Zealand Register of Exercise Professionals.
