What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the commercial and civil infrastructure industries with tradespeople who have the attributes, knowledge of current technologies and practical expertise required to carry out concrete construction work in a range of contexts across the concrete construction industry.
The optional strands in Premanufactured Elements, and Post-tensioned Concrete, recognise specialised skills required in some settings in the concrete construction industry.
This qualification is for people currently working in commercial or civil infrastructure construction or for people from other construction related trades backgrounds intending to work in the commercial or civil infrastructure construction industry.
Graduates will be able to operate unsupervised and perform to the required safety, technical, quality, and productivity standards expected of a commercially competent concrete construction tradesperson.
