What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates of the Graduate Diploma in Counselling will be able to work both independently and collectively demonstrating competence in communication and practice skills. They will demonstrate a broad knowledge of theories and models informing counselling practice, and a range of social issues facing contemporary New Zealand, and apply that knowledge to be an effective counselor.
