Graduates will have developed theoretical and practical knowledge and skills required for planning, organising, implementing and evaluating events: specialists skills and knowledge in the area of event management; critical thinking and application to areas of their professional practice; problem-solving and how to apply; planning and organisational logistic skills; strategies for researching and using information; interpersonal attributes for co-operation, collaboration and participation; attributes to work and think independently; to adapt and operate in a changing environment; literacy and oracy skills for academic and professional practice; demonstrate the implementation of principles of the Treaty of Waitangi in practical application of the skills required.
