Purpose of award
The main purpose of the Award is to contribute towards study expenses of a student studying for an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences who can demonstrate financial need.
Selection criteria
The Award will be made to a candidate who is studying an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.
How do students apply?
Scholarship applications will usually open around six weeks before the closing date. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible before you apply.

Decision makers
The Award will be made by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of a Selection Committee comprising the Dean of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences (or nominee), Director of Student Affairs (or nominee) and the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences Student Academic Services and Engagement Manager (or nominee).
History or background of award
The Award was established in 2005 and is financed by Alumni of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.
