Purpose of award

Available to NZ citizens who are enrolled or intending to enrol fulltime in the first year of the Bachelor of Food Technology (Hons) at Massey University.

Selection criteria

Selection will be based on academic merit and demonstration from the student of their passion for Food Technology.

What conditions are attached to acceptance of this award?

Application cannot be accepted before 30/08/2016.

Recommended by a selection committee led by the Bachelor of Food Technology (Hons) Major Leader and consisting of staff from the IFNHH Food Division, with the final selection approved by the Product Development Manager, Heinz Wattie's.

History or background of award

Heinz Wattie's are providing $10,000 annually for a Scholarship in Food Technology.

Additional information

The scholarship is to be paid in four instalments of $2,500 each April for the four year degree. Following the first year, payment will depend on successful completion of the previous year's study.
