Purpose of award

This scholarship is available to full time, first year undergraduate students of Maniapoto descent who are registered on the Maniapoto Māori Trust Board tribal register studying in the field of environmental studies at a unversity or NZQA-recognised tertiary institute in New Zealand.

Selection criteria

Meet the Eligibility Criteria and Application Criteria,
Must be enrolled in NZ with a registered NZQA tertiary provider studying in 3rd/4th year of Bachelors or Postgraduate,
Degree must be in the field of Environmental Science,
Only first-time applicants may apply.

What conditions are attached to acceptance of this award?

I agree and understand that MMTB: May require you to participate in, or promote you in any related MMTB hui, documentation, promotions and publications (including but not limited to social media); Reserves absolute discretion, in all respects, related to this application.

How do students apply?

Return completed form, along with supporting evidence by email or post. You must also provide confirmation of your enrolment or an acceptance letter from the Tertiary Institute referencing your level of studies and a verified bank deposit slip confirming your bank account details.

Applicants will be selected and contacted according to details provided on their application form. May also be announced at a hui and/or in MMTB websites or publications.
