What does the scholarship get me?
$2,000 each year.

Next: 10 September 2022
10 September each year or the next Monday if the 10th falls in a weekend

3 years, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
Number of awards offered
Up to four each year.
Purpose of award
Four scholarships are awarded each year for tertiary study to students from the Nelson/Tasman area who are academically and financially deserving.
Applicants must be secondary students in their last year of study attending colleges in the Nelson/Tasman District.
Applicants should be intending to study at a tertiary institution and be academically promising and financially deserving.
What conditions are attached to acceptance of this award?
Continuation of scholarship is dependent on satisfactory marks for each semester/year.
How do students apply?
How and when do students learn of the decision?
Applicants are notified of the decision within approximately six weeks of closing date.
Principals recommend one pupil for each college. Shortlisted applicants then interviewed by a selection panel comprising nominated Trustees.
