Purpose of award
To encourage and promote study in Landscape Architecture at Lincoln University
a. Applicants must be full time students who have successfully completed at least one year, or who are in their first year of the Graduate Entry, of their Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at Lincoln University, but who have not yet entered their fourth and final year of study.
b. Applicants should demonstrate the potential for excellence in Landscape Architecture.
c. Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents.
What conditions are attached to acceptance of this award?
Previous recipients are eligible to reapply provided they continue to meet the eligibility criteria
How do students apply?
Send the completed application form to the Scholarships Office by the closing date.

How and when do students learn of the decision?
The selection committee may request the applicant to attend an interview as part of the selection process.
The scholarship shall be awarded based on the recommendation of a selection committee which shall comprise:
• The convenor of the Scholarships Committee, or nominee and
• The Head of the School of Landscape Architecture, or nominee.
History or background of award
The G.B Malcolm Scholarship was established in 2013 as a result of a bequest from Mr. Malcolm.
The criteria for selection will be:
a. Academic Merit
b. Previous or future excellence in Landscape Architecture
