Purpose of award
Northland Regional Council’s new scholarship is to recognise and support students to undertake study, research or training that aligns with council’s areas of focus and mission of ‘working together to create a healthy environment, strong economy and resilient communities’.
Selection criteria
The scholarship is available to students who:
* Are NZ citizens or permanent resident
* Reside in, have family that reside in or have whakapapa (a genealogical connection) to, Taitokerau
* Are enrolled (or have an intention to enrol) in a recognised tertiary course of study that directly relates to activities that council delivers
* Are studying at an undergraduate or higher qualification level.
How do students apply?
All applications must be received with the following supporting documentation by Sunday 14 February 2021.
CV - maximum of two pages
Proof of enrolment (or intention to enrol) in tertiary study such as a transcript, invoice or letter of confirmation
Two references (academic and character).
