What does the scholarship get me?

Length of award
The scholarship value of up to $5,000.00 per annum ($2,500 per semester), will be paid for each year in which the award applies and is to be used towards fees, course costs and accommodation as each semester commences. The scholarship is available for two semesters as determined by the Trustees and Hawkins.

ELIGIBILITY
New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand
Have successfully completed at least one year of course work by the end of 2022, studying a property qualification such as
- Bachelor of construction

Decision makers
In considering grants of awards the Trustees will be advised by a selection panel comprising representatives from Keystone Trust and representatives from Hawkins.
The Trustees will have the sole and unfettered discretion to grant the Scholarship, and will determine in their discretion the scholarship to be offered to any successful applicant, and the amount and period of each scholarship, and the terms and conditions applying to each scholarship.
History or background of award
Hawkins is New Zealand’s leading commercial construction business.
Hawkins delivers unique transformational projects across a variety of sectors including education, health, airports, commercial office buildings and heritage restorations. It leads the industry in civic projects including art galleries, event centres, stadiums and community facilities.
As members of the Construction Sector Accord, we are committed to supporting and developing our industry. By offering this scholarship through Keystone Trust, we want to encourage the next generation of construction professionals.
Additional information
The scholarship is available for up to two consecutive years as determined by the Trustees and Hawkins.
