Purpose of award

The scholarship is open to female students entering their second year of undergraduate study at Victoria University of Wellington who are facing continuing financial hardship. The value of the scholarship is $4,000 which can be paid towards tuition fees or as a stipend.

Selection criteria

*Applicants must be either New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents.
*Selection will be made based on financial hardship and academic merit.

What conditions are attached to acceptance of this award?

Victoria University will expect recipients to write a letter on receipt of the award and an end of year progress report.

How do students apply?

A completed online application must be submitted by 4:30pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4:30pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.

Selection will be made by a panel made by the Victoria University Scholarships Committee.
