What does the scholarship get me?

All applications must be received at the ILT Foundation Office no later than 5pm on Friday, 21 August 2020.

Purpose of award
Each Scholarship is to a value of $2,000 per year and is granted for a three year period so in any one year up to 180 Invercargill students can hold ILT scholarships, the value of which is $360,000 per annum.

What conditions are attached to acceptance of this award?
The Invercargill Licensing Trust expects the recipients of an ILT Tertiary Education Scholarship to have a good understanding of the Trust's history, philosophy and objectives to enable promotion of the Trust to be carried out in an official or unofficial capacity.
How do students apply?
How and when do students learn of the decision?
All payments will be either direct credited to the recipient's account through the Tertiary Institutions administration system upon receipt of course approval or paid direct to the recipient upon receipt of incurred costs.

History or background of award
The ILT Tertiary Education Scholarship Programme was introduced in 2007 and is designed to select up to 60 Invercargill students each year who will receive a Scholarship to attend a Tertiary Education Institution.
Recipients of the scholarship are expected to act as ambassadors for the Invercargill Licensing Trust.
