Purpose of award
The Mark Ashford Memorial Scholarship is the premier study award, a grant of $3000 to the recipient.
Selection criteria
Applications are open to any person with CF currently (within previous 12 months) studying at a tertiary level (including trade courses).

Applications are to be made on The Mark Ashford Memorial Scholarship form available

How and when do students learn of the decision?
The successful applicant will be notified by the mid-April, and it would be preferable if the recipient of the Mark Ashford Memorial Scholarship could make themselves available for presentation of this award at the Association's National Conference held in May. (All costs incurred in attending the presentation will be covered by the Association.)
Decision makers
The recipient will be selected from all grant applicants and will be chosen by by CFANZ Chief Executive, CFANZ Administration Manager and approved by Mrs K Ashford and the General Manager Tasman Insulation.
History or background of award
This award is funded by Tasman Insulation, manufacturers of Pink Batts, in memory of March Ashford, a person with CF who made a huge contribution to home health with his work on the Fletcher Group's Healthy Homes book, which is still in use today.
