Purpose of award
For pupils of Central Hawke's Bay College pursuing a course of study in one or more of the arts at a recognised School of Art in New Zealand. Past pupils of colleges within the Bay of Plenty area may also be considered.
The Central Hawke's Bay College Arts Scholarship is available to applicants pursuing a course of study, preferably a diploma or degree, in one or more of the arts at a recognised School of Art in New Zealand.
The donor has asked that applicants demonstrate a clear ability in one or more of the fine arts or arts – including painting, sculpture, design, carving, visual arts, media studies, graphic design.
Applicants are eligible to apply according to the following criteria:
Currently in Year 13 at Central Hawke's Bay College
Has been a pupil of Central Hawke's Bay College within a period of three years from date of this application.
Has secured a pass in NCEA Leval 1 or academic equivalent.
