About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates will have knowledge of the role of trade in society and its legal rules and economic rationales; an awareness of the social, economic, political and cultural context in which international trade operates; and an appreciation of the nature and contribution of different perspectives on international trade and related theories including customary laws of Maori and Pacific peoples. Students will be able to analyse problems, contribute to relevant policy discussion and engage with a diversity of perspectives relevant to international trade. Graduates will enhance their employment prospects in relevant areas of government or business. Graduates may be able to continue to the Master of International Trade (VI002R).
