What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the construction industry with people who have the practical skills, knowledge and aptitude to construct foundations for building projects, to a commercial standard.
The qualification provides recognition of knowledge and skills for people working in construction situations as foundation construction specialists, as well as those working in the building relocation industry. The optional Concrete Placing and Finishing strand provides recognition of the skills and knowledge for people who also place and finish concrete foundations.
This qualification aligns to the knowledge and skills requirements of the Foundations Licence class of the Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) scheme.
