What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the frame and truss detailing sector with people who have attained sufficient knowledge, practical skills and aptitude to work proficiently as frame and truss detailers.
Graduates will be capable of operating unsupervised to perform wall frame and roof truss detailing for building projects that meets the needs of the industry. Achievement will recognise the skills of people entering the profession or who are already employed as frame and truss detailers and will provide career opportunities for people in allied building and construction trades.
