What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide people preparing to work in the barbering, beauty or hairdressing sectors of the beauty services industry with an overview of the working environment of a salon, career pathway opportunities, and the basic knowledge and skills required to undertake employment and/or further training in their chosen sector.
Graduates will be capable of operating at an entry-level under general supervision.
