Entry requirements

Applicants must: - Hold exam credits for the CAA Air Traffic Controller theoretical subjects in Air Law, Operational Procedures, Meteorology, Air Navigation, Principles of Flight and Aircraft Performance, and Human Performance English Language Requirements All applicants must have a level of English sufficient to be able to study at this level. Those students whose first language is not English will have an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall Academic score of 5.5 issued within the last 2 years.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The aim of this programme is to provide the air traffic services sector of the aviation industry with individuals who have attained sufficient operational and theoretical knowledge and practical skills to undertake on-job training to become licenced and rated air traffic controllers.
