What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the pulp and paper industry with individuals who have the advanced skills and knowledge to safely and efficiently operate plant and equipment used in pulp and paper manufacturing without supervision under broad guidance.
Graduates will understand the science and technology behind manufacturing processes used to make pulp and paper.
They will be able to:
- apply knowledge of processes to make improvements in productivity and quality
- safely and efficiently control plant and equipment in their specialist area.
