What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the organic primary industry sector with graduates who have the skills and knowledge to assist with a range of core tasks relevant to production.
This qualification is targeted at learners who have some general experience in the organic primary industry sector who want to further develop their skills and knowledge in organic primary production.
Learners will benefit by having an organic production qualification within a training pathway that recognises progression through the primary industry, as well as increased skills and knowledge acquisition to enable improved employment performance.
The organic primary industry sector will benefit by having staff that are able to carry out organic production tasks in a safe, appropriate, and effective manner.
Graduates will be able to work under limited supervision.
