The purpose of this qualification is to provide the rural contracting industry with people who have the knowledge and skills to undertake rural contracting activities under broad guidance.
Graduates of this qualification can apply to become a qualified contractor with Rural Contractors New Zealand.
The strands in this qualification recognise the specialisations in crop production, harvesting, or mechanical vegetation control.
