This qualification provides a foundation for those who are or want to be a holistic educator in Aotearoa New Zealand or overseas.
Graduates will be able to work effectively with a holistic educational philosophy in a range of social, cultural and spiritual contexts.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
Registered teachers who have completed a recognized teaching qualification at L7 or higher (or equivalent overseas qualification) Teachers not registered but have experience of teaching or working with children may be given discretionary acceptance. NCEA Level 3; 3 subjects at L3 made up of 14 credits each in 3 approved subjects; 10 Literacy credits at L2 or above made up of 5 credits in reading and 5 credits in writing; 10 Numeracy credits at L1 or above made up of *specified achievement standards available through a range of subjects or *unit standards (26623, 26626, 26627 - all required); or evidence of equivalent knowledge or skills. English Language Requirement: IELTS (academic) higher than 6.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in all bands or Pearson Test of English (academic) score of 58 or equivalent (www.nzqa.govt.nz)
