What can I expect out of this qualification?

This qualification is intended for practitioners seeking to advanced technical and theoretical knowledge, as well as in-depth practice consistent with tikanga and reo (as appropriate to the area of specialty), in one of the following fields of Ngā Toi - Whakairo, Ngā Mahi ā te Whare Pora, Toi Ataata, Mau Rākau, or Māori Performing Arts).

Graduates of this qualification will contribute to New Zealand as advanced practitioners, able to self-manage and take responsibility for their own learning. Graduates will also be able to manage Ngā Toi projects; and will be capable of working independently, as a specialist and as kaitiaki within their field.
