What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the aeronautical engineering industry with graduates who carry out the maintenance planning function and recognises the knowledge and skills in keeping with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulatory requirements for this role.

This qualification is intended for learners who are experienced aeronautical engineers, and who want to broaden their skills to include maintenance planning.

The aeronautical engineering sector of the aviation industry will benefit through employment of staff knowledgeable and capable of planning the maintenance process of aircraft.

Graduates will be equipped with a comprehensive set of skills relating to the administration and management of maintenance planning for an aviation engineering organisation.
